  2. B. Relief is evident within 4 weeks with standard doses.
  3. C. Lower doses of Estrogen are associated with decreased incidence of irregular bleeding or breast tenderness compared to standard doses.
  4. D. All of the above.
Answer
Ans: D
Tips: RxTx/CTC. Menopause. Estrogen preparations used in the treatment of vasomotor symptoms include products administered by either the oral or transdermal (e.g., gel, patch) route. The effect of estrogen therapy on vasomotor symptoms is dose-related, with substantial relief seen within 4 weeks at standard doses (estradiol 1 mg or equivalent) and 8–12 weeks at low doses (conjugated estrogens 0.3 mg or equivalent). Lower doses of estrogen are associated with a decreased incidence of irregular bleeding, breast tenderness and thrombosis compared to standard doses.
