Pooja Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 A new Drug antidepressant is administered...Patient when took with fruit juice its shows decrease in quantity unchanged in the urine..when administered with antacid drug shows increse in eliminination rate..so, What can be concluded for the drug is...A..weak acidB..Weak BaseC. Guest expert Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 Antacids are base. When antacids reacts with acidic drug, it will neutralize and forms salts. So salts ionize in aquous solution. This will increase elimination drug in urine.
